Homemade Face Masks

Grape Mask (for dry skin)
In a blender, blend 1 cup seedless grapes (red or green) until pulpy. Apply to face and neck before showering; leave on no more than 5 minutes; rinse off in shower with warm water splashes. (This is a perfect once a week reviver for dry skin.)

Egg White Mask (for oily/combination skin)

Beat the whites of 2 eggs with some fresh, finely minced yarrow and sage (available from stores that sell fresh herbs). When the mixture forms peaks, apply to clean skin. Leave on for 15 minutes, and then rinse off with warm water splashes. Follow with an application of a moisturizer geared to your skin type.

Papaya Mask (for blotchy/blackhead prone skin)
Mash 1 papaya; apply to clean skin. Leave on for 10 minutes; rinse with warm water splashes.

Banana Mask (for normal to dry skin)
Mash 1 and 1/2 banana. Add 1 tablespoon honey and 2 tablespoons sour cream.

Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with a rich moisturizer.

Avocado Mask (for all skin types)

Mash 2 tablespoons avocado; blend with 1 tablespoon honey and 2 drops lemon 3 juice. Apply to clean skin; leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
